English Red, a bezant charged with a horse's head couped black pendant from the bridle a rose stalked and leaved proper.

Origin/meaning

Dick Turpin the most notorious of Highwaymen (1706-1739), who famously rode between London and York (Rose) on his faithflu mare, Balck Bess, with his stolen gold. The badge was approved in 1945.
