English Gold; issuant from water in base wavy engrailed of four blue and white a moon rising white surmounted by a lightship red fimbriated black lettered on the hull VARNE white aloft a lantern issiant therefrom rays red.

Origin/meaning

Varne Bank is a large Sandbank which lies 9 Miles off the Kent Coast. The badge was approved on 6 October 1944.
