Official blazon
English White; a cross charged with five bezants within a horseshoe reversed red.

Motto:Sponsione provoco.

Origin/meaning

Admiral Sir Charles Wager (1666-1743). Firstly a Commissioner (1733) and then Treasurer of the Admiralty. The Motto translates as "I challange with a wager". The badge was approved in 1944.
