Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted in 1973.
The bend and alerions is the arms of the Lorraine region. The tower refers to the one built in 1005 and whose foundations were used to build the bell tower of the church. The base shows two small wavy lines for the local water shed, and a pine tree for the local forests.
