Entre os braços da aspa dois pães de açúcar de ouro, realçados de vermelho, em chefe e em ponta, e duas âncoras de ouro nos flancos. Coronel naval de ouro forrado de vermelho. Sotoposto listel ondulado de prata com a legenda em letras negras maiúsculas, tipo elzevir, «CAPITANIA DO PORTO DO FUNCHAL».
