Origin/meaning
The mineral wealth of the region and their exploitation are symbolized by the color black (the bowels of the earth), by the pickaxes and by the silver tiles representing blocks of ore. The gold deposits are evoked by the gold of the chief. The coffee beans refer to the important coffee production of the region.
