German |
Geteilt von Blau und Rot durch ein überhöhten silbernen Sparren; unten ein silberner Amboss, darüber gekreuzt eine silberne Zange und ein silberner Hammer Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on November 27, 1937. The arms show a smithy. Heiligenhaus belonged until 1897 to Velbert and has thus never had own seals or arms. The city has large iron industries, which are symbolised by the smithy. The small chevron resembles a roof and is a canting element (Haus=house)
