In Blau auf grünem Boden eine silberne Kirche in Seitenansicht mit Spitzturm und rotem Dach; über dem Langhaus schwebend ein spitzer silberner Stulphut, dessen Gupf mit einem schwarzen Schrägbalken belegt und mit einem silbernen Reiherfederbusch besteckt ist.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 6, 1937.

The arms show a canting church (Kirche). The hat is the crest of the Lords of Srgenstein, whose estate formed most of the municipality. The family ruled the area for many centuries from the Tannenfels castle.
