HERGERSWEILER

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Südliche Weinstrasse
Verbandsgemeinde: Bad Bergzabern

Wappen von Hergersweiler/Arms (crest) of Hergersweiler
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 7, 1982.

The arms are based on the old seal of Amt Barbelroth, to which the village historically belonged. The lion is replaced by a bunch of grapes and on the Bavarian part a tobacco leaf was added. These represented the main two agricultural crops during the centuries.
