HOFEN

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Stuttgart
Incorporated into: 1929 Stuttgart

Wappen von Hofen (Stuttgart)/Arms (crest) of Hofen (Stuttgart)
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1912 and are based on the arms of the Lords of Hofen, who lived in the village in the early Middle Ages. As no colours were known for the arms, it was decided to use arbitrarily colours.
