Arms (crest) of Hvorslev

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1987.

The arms show in the upper half a plough, which symbolises the prehistoric inhabitation of the area, as a Bronze Age wooden plough was found in Hvorslev. The Thor's hammer in the base as Thorsø parish used a (canting) Thor's hammer as its symbol.
