Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, despicat de un brâu undat de argint. În partea dreaptă, în câmp roșu, se află o siluetă feminină în picioare, văzută din față, purtând pe cap un ștergar și în picioare opinci, îmbrăcată cu cămașă având motive geometrice, cu poale peste cătrință și ținând în mâna dreaptă un ulcior, totul de aur. În partea stângă, în câmp albastru, se află un corn al abundenței din care se revarsă 2 pere cu frunze, 2 știuleți de porumb depănușați, o vânătă, o varză, o căpșună, 3 cireșe cu frunză, o gutuie cu frunză și un ardei gras, totul de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 15, 2016.
The female silhouette refers to the legend of the beautiful girl, named Nița, after whom the village supposedly is named.
The wavy pale represents the hydrography of the locality, respectively the rivers Amandia and Jiu.
The horn of plenty symbolizes the basic occupation of the inhabitants, vegetable growing and fruit growing.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
