"Gedeeld : I golvend links geschuinbalkt van zilver en azuur van tien stukken; II in zilver een dwarsbalk van keel; in een hartschild van goud een springende windhond van sabel, gehalsband van goud. Het schild gedekt met een gouden kroon van drie bladeren en twee parels."
Oorsprong/verklaring:
Het wapen is samengesteld uit de wapens van de beide opgeheven waterschappen. Het hartschild is het wapen van Ruurlo, waar het waterschap was gevestigd.
