Stema Iablanița

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 24, 2004.

The walled field and the gate are an allusion to the fact that the settlement is the first locality in the Almaj region, also called the Gateway to Almaj.

The lambs represent the occupation of the inhabitants of the area, the shepherding, hence the old name, Valea Mieilor.

The green terrace represents the pastures and forests within the locality.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
