The Cross symbolise the City of Tomar, Garrison of the Regiment. It is also indicative of the Knights Templars who had a Stronghold in Tomar. The Fleyr-de-Lys symbolises the Battle of La Lys, for which the Regiment was awarded the Order of the Tower and Sword.
