Origin/meaning

Lemons were found to b a cure for scurvy in the 18th Century. The Motto transaltes as "Health from the sea". The badge was approved in 1976 replacing a version approved 1973. That one was blazoned as "White; out of a base wavy blue and white a lemon tree fructed and eradicated proper". Motto was the same as the present one.
