Administrative division
Iraq is composed of eighteen governorates (or provinces). The governorates are subdivided into districts. Iraqi Kurdistan (Arbil, Duhok, Sulaymaniyah) is the only legally defined region within Iraq, with its own government.
None of these actually uses a coat of arms.
