JERICHOWER LAND (JL)

Additions : 1994 Burg (1950 Jerichow I, 1957 Loburg), Genthin (1950 Jerichow II)
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on September 12, 1995.
The arms are a combination of the Elbe-Havel Channel which runs through the county and which is important for the local economy, and a crane. The crane is a typical bird for the area and symbolises the nature in the county.
