Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2021

The arms show the planet Mars, as a crater on that planet is named after the village, due to the geographical similarity. The structures on the planet refer the lakes and rivers in the municipality. The base also indicates the lakes and rivers and their richness is fish. The caste refers to a legend in which which was mentioned that the Illyrian queen Teuta (reigned 231–228/227 BC), rested in a castle near the lake in the current village.
