JUNGLINSTER
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 11, 1984.
The largest part of the municipality historically belonged to the estate of Linster. The Lords of Linster of the Orley family used a shield of silver with two red pales. These form the base of the shield of the arms.
The cross is a symbol for the influence and possessions of the Abbey in Echternach in the municipality.
