Origin/meaning
The arms approved by Kungl. Maj:t on 16 May 1957 and is based on the Seal used by the Härad since 1568. The Tree was after consultation with the head of the Botanical Department of the Natural History Museum Professor Eric Hultén, intrepetred as a Cherry Tree. Which are abundant in the Area.
