(1955) Van goud met dubbele adelaar van sabel - het schild geplaatst vóór een gemijterde Sint Willibrord, omkleed met de kazuifel, zegenend met de rechterhand en houdend in de linkerhand een staf gewend naar buiten, het geheel van goud.
(1987) Gedeeld I. in goud een dubbele adelaar van sabel II. doorsneden a. gevierendeeld 1. en 4. in goud een gaande ever van sabel met slagtanden van zilver 2. en 3. in sabel drie kepers van zilver b. in lazuur een Sint-Margareta van goud.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 10, 1987.

The arms combine elements from the arms of the three former municipalities. The eagle stands for the old arms of Kasterlee, see below. The lower left quarter shows the old arms of Tielen. The upper left quarter shows the arms of the Van de Werve family, who were in the 18^th century Lords of Lichtaart.

The previous arms were granted on July 4, 1955.
