Hopeakentässä punainen, alapuoleltaan aaltokoroinen irtohirsi, jolla seisoo musta, pu navaruksinen kukko.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 18, 1963.
The arms are based on the legend of the foundation of the local church. The church supposedly was founded on a place where a rooster, sailing on a small piece of wood, finally made a landfall.
