Mustassa kentässä pystyssä hyppäävä hopeinen lohi, sen yläpuolella kultakruunu.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 30, 1952.

The salmon refers to the rich salmon fishing in the Kymi river. The crown refers to Kymi manor and the visit of King Gustav Vasain 1555. He made the manor a exemplary royal manor.
