På gull bunn et rødt vasshjul.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on July 26, 1957.
The arms show a watermill wheel symbol for the water mills and the subsequent timber industry that developed in the municipality. The wheel also symbolises the strong industrial character of the municipality.
