Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.

Beech leaves represent the fact that the largest share in the exploitation of wood in the area has beech.

The three ears of wheat represent the main occupation of the inhabitants, namely agriculture.

The three mounds symbolize the fact that significant amounts of coal, talc, salt and mica are mined in the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
