Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 7, 2020.

Landrecht is located in the "Wüster Marsch" natural area and is characterized by moist meadows, pastures and bodies of water. The municipality is cut into three parts by the federal highway 5 and the Hamburg / Westerland railway line. An idyllic and very popular path leads along the Wilster-Au from Wüster to the Kasenort lock.

The arms refer to the three parts of the municipality; the stone wall in the shield base refers to the stone dam along the Wilster-Au, the wavy bend to the the Wilster-Au and the Bischof area, the hawk's head refers to Klein Hackeboe and the bridge refers to Kasenort.

The colors blue, white and red are the state colors of Schleswig-Holstein.
