In 1924 the municipality asked for a grant of arms of the arms already used at the time, but with the Austrian arms placed above the shield. The State Archives would only agree if the municipality could prove the historical use of the arms and eagle. They could for the shield, not for the eagle, hence the arms were granted in 1924 without the eagle. | |||
