Wappen von Lerchenberg bei Eisenach/Arms (crest) of Lerchenberg bei Eisenach
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 25, 1993.

The bend symbolises the geographical situation in the village; on the border of forests and fields and hills and plains. The upper half shows some leaves, symbolising the nature, whereas the lower half shows part of a cogwheel, symbolising industry. The base of the shield shows a wall, symbolising the historical tile and brick industry. The beet symbolises agriculture, whereas the acorn symbolises the more than 1200 year old oak in the village of Berteroda. The bird is a lark (Lerche) and thus a canting symbol.
