Escut caironat: d'argent, 3 llances d'atzur, fustades de gules, sostingudes sobre un peu ondat d'atzur. Per timbre, una corona mural de vila.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 21, 1986.
Canting arms: they show three "llances" (Catalan for spears) on the sea, because the town is by the Mediterranean, on the Costa Brava.
The arms (old style) as used on the town hall (2013).
