Escut caironat: d'or, un castell d'atzur obert, acostat de 2 barjoletes de gules. Per timbre, una corona de baró.

Origin/meaning

The castle of Lluçà was the centre of a barony in the 14th century; the two red pouches at each side are taken from the arms of the Saportella family, the barons of Lluçà. At the top of the arms there is also a baron crown.
