LUNCA MUREȘULUI

District/county (județ) : Alba

Stema Lunca Mureșului

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on November 20, 2013.

The two clasped hands symbolize the good understanding and harmony between the ethnic groups living and working in these lands.

The waves represent the rivers Mureș and Arieș, which cross the commune and which are witnesses of the passage of time over the history of this locality.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
