Administrative division
Madagascar is divided into 22 regions (faritra). The regions are further subdivided into 119 districts, 1,579 communes, and 17,485 fokontany.
I have no idea how many of these actually use a coat of arms, although some cities receives arms during colonial times, I have no information on modern grants.
