  • (fr) Coupé: au 1er de sable à la coupe d'or, au 2e d'or à la tête de Maure de sable tortillée d'argent, le cou ceint d'un collier de perles du même.

Origin/meaning

The arms combine elements of the different families that ruled the Estate of Maizeroy in the 17th and 18th century. The upper half is derived from the arms of the Pottier de Maizeroy family, the lower from the arms of the Morel de Chevillon family.
