L'écu surmonté d'une couronne de marquis et supporté par deux lions léopardés tenant des bannières, celle de dextre de sinople à un lion d'argent, armé, lampassé et couronné d'or, celle de senestre aux armes de l'écu.

In the early 19th century the village applied for arms, but these were not granted, only a seal with the text Plaatselijk bestuur van Marche lez Ecaussinnes was granted in 1823.
The proposed arms showed a star (see below), the meaning thereof is not known.
