The arms are those of the de Poilly family. Francois de Poillky was financier in Montreuil sur Mer in 1608 and mayor there in 1623. He was also Lord of Maresville. As was his son, who registered these arms in the Armorial de France in 1696.

Origin/meaning

The arms are those of the de Poilly family. Francois de Poillky was financier in Montreuil sur Mer in 1608 and mayor there in 1623. He was also Lord of Maresville. As was his son, who registered these arms in the Armorial de France in 1696.
