Escut caironat truncat: 1r. de porpra, una mà d'argent; 2n. d'or, 4 pals de gules. Per timbre una corona mural de vila.

Origin/meaning

Canting arms: they show traditionally a "mà" (Catalan for "hand"). On the 2nd partition there are the royal arms of Catalonia-Aragon (four pales Gules on Or); the town has been under the royal jurisdiction since the 16th century.
