  • Wapen: Verhoogd deursnede en drieledig uitkomend ruitvormig geknobbel, silwer en swart, in die skildhoof 'n hoekige streepbalk, ook swart, en in die skildvoet 'n aansiende afgesnede steenbokkop en -hals van natuurlike kleur; 'n rooi hoekige skildhoof, die pieke kanteelvormig.
  • Helmteken: 'n Swart muurkroon belaai met 'n goue versmalde dwarsbalk, daarop 'n ander van rooi.
  • Wrong en Dekklede: Goud en swart.

  • Arms: Per fess enhanced and nowy of three lozenges issuant, Argent and Sable, in chief a barrulet dancetty, also Sable, and in base a steenbok's head couped affrontee proper; a chief dancetty, the peaks embattled, Gules.
  • Crest: A mural crown Sable charged with a bar Or, thereupon another Gules.
  • Wreath and Mantling: Or and Sable.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 23, 1988.

The chief alludes to the distictive Sandstone Koppies (Hills) of the area. In base the head of a Steenbok, a shy gazelle found in the area.
