(de) In Silber ein silberner Mühlstein mit schwarzer Mahlbahn in perspektivischer Ansicht, durch das Steinauge wachsend ein bewurzelter fünfblättriger grüner Maienbaum.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on August 7, 1950.

The tree in the arms is described as a Maie, and is thus a canting element. The millstone symbolises the local quarries and stonecutting and masonry industry in the district.
