Blason de Mercurey/Coat of arms (crest) of {{PAGENAME
Official blazon
French De gueules au caducée d'argent; chaussé haussé d'or chargé de deux grappes de raisin de gueules tigées de sinople.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The caduceus is the symbol of the Roman God Mercury and thus a canting symbol. The golden field and the red point symbolise the Val dÓr (golden valley) in which the village is situated. The grapes symbolise the importance of viticulture.
