Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on January 6, 1984.

The first quarter shows elements from the arms of the Canons to the Counts of Lyon. The second and third show the arms of the Dugas and Arthaud families, former lords of the village. The fourth quarter refers to the local fortifications.
