Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 17, 1994.

The oak leaf in the upper half symbolises the huge, 32 m high, oak tree in the village, which is a typical landmark. The bell in the lower half symbolises the church in the village of Kopitzsch, founded in 1739/40. The wavy bend symbolises the Orla river.
