Blason de Misy-sur-Yonne

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1990.

The field and the fleur-de-lis refer to the Île-de-France region, the bridge symbolizes the link between the Île-de-France and Burgundy. The wavy bar symbolises the Yonne river and the coat cut by a sword is the symbol for St. Martin of Tours, patron saint of the parish.
