Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 10, 1977.
The upper part refers to the hydro-electric powerstation and weirs in the Donau river in the municipality. The arms thus show in the upper part the international symbol for a weir.
The lower part is taken from the former arms of Hütting.
