Blason de Mittersheim

Official blason

  • (fr) D'azur à la fasce ondée d'argent, au massacre de cerf crucifère d'or brochant.

Origin/meaning

The silver bar is taken from the arms of the Fénétrange family, former lords of the village. The bar also refers to the Mittersheim Lake. The deer head with a cross is the symbol of St. Hubertus, the local patron saint.
