Official blazon:
Escudo de prata, com um sobreiro de verde, frutado de ouro, troncado e arrancado de negro, realçado de prata. Em chefe uma cruz de Santiago, de púrpura, acompanhado de dois cachos cachos de uvas de púrpura folhados de verde. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com os dizeres : " VILA DA MOITA " de negro.
Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on May 13, 1940.
