Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on November 6, 2020.
The label refers to the castles of Murvaux and Saint Germain.
The golden lion and the blue field are taken from the arms of the family of Saint Vincent, last lords of the village in the 18th century.
The silver garden lily and the blue field are typical symbols for the mother of Jesus, Mary, to whom the church is dedicated.
The two vines refer that in Murvaux on the slopes many vines used to be grown. In the 19th century, Murvaux had the most important vineyard in the north of the Meuse département.
