Official blason
I guld en av vågskura bildad blå stam och däröver ett rött skansmärke med fem uddar, varav en uppåtriktad.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 17, 1980.

As none of the old municipalities ever had used arms, new arms had to be designed. The fortress indicates the three prehistoric fortresses that can be found in the municipality. It thus indicates the long history and the strategis position of the area. The base shows the sea, which surrounds the municipality on three sides.
