Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 2017.

The arms show an archaeological find from Türsamäe (Vaivara parish) from the 4th century.

The previous arms were officially granted on March 8, 1994.

Coat of arms (crest) of Narva-Jõesuu

The town is a sea resort, which is shown by the sun, the sea (blue) and the sand (gold). The T-shape is canting, the name means mouth of the Narva river.
