In Silber ein Bauer in blauer Tracht mit einer Hacke in der rechten Hand. Die Linke stützt sich auf einen Baumstumpf, an dem ein roter Schild mit einem goldenen Weberschiffchen steht.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on February 24, 1939.
The arms are very 'natural' and not heraldic in design and show a farmer in local dress with axe, and a small shield with a spindle and thread. The arms thus show the importance of agriculture and the textime industry for the villages. The old seal showed a garb.
